Ahmedabad: In the most anticipated match of the ICC World Cup 2023, India bowled out Pakistan for 191 runs on Saturday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Many analysts questioned Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s decision to bowl first after he won the toss. But the Indian bowlers showed him incorrect; they were taking wickets consistently.

The top four batsmen for Pakistan did a good job at bat, but none of them was able to score many runs. Despite their strong connection, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were both removed from the game after reaching half-centuries.

Pakistan’s middle and lower orders crumbled under the weight of the Indian bowlers following the demise of Babar and Rizwan. India bowled Pakistan out for 191 in 42.5 overs, their last eight wickets falling for just 36 runs.
For India, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, and Hardik Pandya all claimed two wickets apiece.

India’s next goal is to win the match by reaching the target of 192 runs.

India’s bowling display was superb, as each of Rohit Sharma’s five bowlers claimed wickets. Bowlers Bumrah and Siraj stood out in particular because they both bowled quickly and accurately. Yadav and Jadeja bowled well as well, while Pandya’s medium pace helped him take two wickets.

None of Pakistan’s batsmen were able to turn their starts into significant scores, which made their batting performance dismal. Despite their strong collaboration, Babar and Rizwan were both removed from the game after reaching half a century. Then came the collapse of the middle and lower orders, with only 36 runs coming from the final eight wickets.

India is expected to win the match, but they will have to be cautious when batting against Pakistan’s potent bowling arsenal. Pakistan would be trying to get an early advantage over India’s batting order because they have some talented bowlers, such as Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf.
